| Metilapata is a uniquely shaped stool that allows for easy and elegant stacking as the legs of the stool are placed through openings in the cushion. When stacked, the stools are pleasing to the eye; they simulate a colorful pile of fabrics which seems almost separate from the legs. The seat is made of a soft, upper cushion on a rigid plate which provides support, and the form of the legs make them structurally resistant as well as easily stackable. The legs are designed in such a way that they can be produced through aluminum casting using simple molds. |
