Morfosis: modular seat
Morfosis is a modular system based on a simple component that, by attaching it to others, allows for adaptation to the user’s different spaces and needs. For example, one long seat can be divided into various stools or seats, or the living room can be re-arranged, always maintaining a simple, elegant configuration. The modules (created through rotomolding) are made of polyurethane and have a steel piece on each side: a button on one side and a slot on the other, which, when put together, act as an axis for rotation as well as allowing the user to attach and detach the modules with ease. Since Morfosis is created using individual modules, the user can constantly add to or change his or her Morfosis furniture collection, acquiring new modules.

Metilapata
Metilapata is a uniquely shaped stool that allows for easy and elegant stacking as the legs of the stool are placed through openings in the cushion. When stacked, the stools are pleasing to the eye; they simulate a colorful pile of fabrics which seems almost separate from the legs. The seat is made of a soft, upper cushion on a rigid plate which provides support, and the form of the legs make them structurally resistant as well as easily stackable. The legs are designed in such a way that they can be produced through aluminum casting using simple molds. |
